General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for the IASPE Annual Meetings

Scope

The annual meetings are based on the “General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for the
Annual Meetings of the IASPE”.

Registration

By registering, you agree to these terms and conditions. Registrations are made via
the IASPE website. Verbal registrations cannot be accepted. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with information about the participation fees.

Participation fees

The fees include participation in the annual conference, beverages, and
meals as described in the announcement. Your registration is only binding and entitles you to participate in the annual conference after your registration fee has been received in the
IASPE account. Unless otherwise specified, the conference fee is due no later than four weeks before the start of the conference.

Cancellation

Cancellations must be made in writing or by email.

Verbal cancellations are not possible. You can withdraw from your registration free of charge up to 30 days before the start of the conference without giving a reason. For cancellations up to and including 14 days before the start of the conference, a cancellation fee of 50% of the conference fees will be charged. For later cancellations or if participation in the conference is not possible, no costs can be refunded.

Program and schedule changes

The conference content and schedule may be changed if the conference organizer deems it necessary. In the event of insufficient registration or technical problems, we reserve the right to cancel the announced conference before it begins or to postpone it to a later date, possibly at a different venue. Your registration remains valid. If you do not agree to this, you will receive a refund of the conference fees paid. Other costs incurred by you cannot be reimbursed by IASPE.

Declaration

The contributions of the speakers represent the opinions of the authors. Liability claims against IASPE arising from the use or non-use, or use of incomplete, information are expressly excluded. All rights (e.g., reprinting, reproduction) to the contributions (including excerpts) are reserved by the respective authors and speakers. Any use of material from the contributions (e.g., reproduction of photos, copying of content) requires the prior written consent of the authors.
