Continuing education guidelines “Accredited epithetist of the IASPE”

foreword

A fundamental prerequisite for high-quality epithetic care is sound professional training, which is currently not uniformly regulated internationally for the field of epithetics. To promote an internationally consistent level of quality, the International Association for Prosthetic and Epithetic Surgery (IASPE) offers a structured continuing education program.

The IASPE is the body responsible for the advanced training guidelines for “Certified Epithetists”. According to its statutes, its mission is to promote scientific and practical advancement in the field of surgical prosthetics and epithetics.

Participation in this advanced training is voluntary. Those who successfully complete the structured training will receive a certificate from IASPE as a “Certified Epithetist”.
